Getting to NCL2012

The campus is  within easy reach of major international and national transport links, and close to Heathrow airport with public transport links (see links at the bottom of the page).

By Air: when booking your flights we recommend flying to Heathrow, as this is much closer to the conference venue than London's other airports. However, it is still possible to catch a shuttle bus from Gatwick to Heathrow, if this is your only direct flight destination.

Taxis: Gemini Cars are a taxi firm near Heathrow that can take you to the Royal Holloway College. Their set fares  from Heathrow to/from Royal Holloway Campus (Egham) start at £21 for Terminals 1, 3 & 4, and £17 for Terminal 5. You can book a cab to meet you at arrivals by phone (+44-1784 471111 from outside the UK) or on-line  (http://www.geminicars.co.uk/services.html) - you will need your plane arrival details including which terminal. Please say you are going to NCL2012 at RHC, and say if you are happy to share your cab with other meeting attendees. This of course may mean waiting a while for another plane arrival. We will arrange taxis for your return journey during the meeting.

Buses: Alternatively you can catch the No bus 71 which takes half an hour from Heathrow Terminal 5 to Egham Arndale Way, which is relatively near the rail station. Time table: http://www.londonbusroutes.net/times/071Heathrow.htm

By train: From Central London trains run every half hour from Waterloo station to Egham station, which is a short cab ride from the conference venue
